East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. is normalizing the Tegal Amba connecting channel, Duren Sawit. It is to anticipate inundation in Klender, Duren Sawit, Pondok Bambu and its surrounding areas.
Today, Tuesday (4/18), four heavy equipments type mini amphibious and long-arm excavators are sent to those areas. Normalization will be carried out gradually from Jalan Zaenal Abidin until Jalan Tegal Amba, as long as 790 meters.
Channel on Jalan Kebantenan III DredgedEast Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Maintenance Section Head, Yoserizal said normalization is targeted to be completed in the forthcoming June.
